Medicare Network team has conducted a complete 1.5 hour duration Oxygen Shutdown at the NICUs, A2 Wards and Labour Room at the Aga Khan University & Hospital, Main Campus.
A controlled shutdown of the medical oxygen system, carried out with safety and precision:
🔹 Planning & Notification — Coordinate with hospital staff and notify affected areas.
🔹 Backup Supply — Prepare and verify the standby oxygen cylinders.
🔹 Isolation — Safely isolate the designated oxygen system/section.
🔹 Cylinder Changeover — Move, connect and commission the backup cylinders.
🔹 Verification — Check pressure, leaks, alarms and downstream supply.
🔹 Restoration — Reinstate the primary supply and confirm normal operation.
