یہ عنوان دراصل ایک طویل علمی و فکری جدوجہد سے وابستہ ہے۔ مصنف نے اس موضوع پر باقاعدہ تہافت الملاحدہ کے نام سے ایک طویل المدت تعلیمی پروگرام بھی پیش کیا، جس کا مقصد الحاد و ارتداد کے فکری مباحث کو سمجھنا، مغربی فلسفے کا مطالعہ کرنا اور نوجوانوں کے ذہنوں میں پیدا ہونے والے شکوک و شبہات کا علمی انداز میں جائزہ لینا تھا۔ یہ پروگرام بالآخر تین سال میں مکمل ہوا۔
