"British Muslim women who wear the hijab feel generally better about their body image than those who don’t wear the hijab suggests research published in the British Journal of Psychology today."

There’s one cure for everything: Muraqaba. Many people have the problem of being overly emotional.

If you want to start parda, for example, start in small doses. Otherwise others will get tensed and they will make you tensed as well, then you end up dropping out because of this. You have to be more ba-hikmat than the people around you. Your family will get upset, give them time, pray 2 rakaat hajat nafl and make dua to Allah taala. Sometimes saying yes to them is also hikmat. You should realize how much time you should take to start parda in front of family members such that it’s not a blast for them. First parda is gupshup ka parda, baat cheet ka parda, outing ka parda and so on...

You don't have something called free time, guys. You don’t. You are members of this ummah. Every member of this ummah is constantly working to make this society better. To do something good for people. You don’t time to play video games for 8 hours, you don’t have time for the new movie that’s coming out, you have time to do more important things.

Hold yourself to a higher standard. Not because the elders are telling you, because the sheikh is telling you, because somebody else is telling you. Because your own conscience should tell you. Your “La Ilaha illAllah” should tell you, man.

You will see corruption around you in society, you will see youth that are getting away from Allah. Who do you think will invite them? Me? No! Those kids don’t come to the masjid. Those kids don’t come to any halaqaat. I have no way of reaching them, they’re your friends! You gotta go to them, you have to be their duaat, you have to be an inspiration to them. Make sure that you have to become a person of concern for those around you. Don’t just complain about your friends.”

Advise To Muslim Sisters How to Dress Modestly As a Muslim Girl

1) Wear proper hijab/khimar. This means that you must obey Allah's command to cover everything apart from your face and hands (on which opinion is divided). The clothing must be loose and not revealing the shape of your body, it must not be see through, it must not be too eye catching and it must not resemble the clothing of a man or the non-Muslims. Wearing it is a command by Allah SWT, we have to obey this rule or face punishment
2) Avoid fancy hijabs in bright colours, with patterns or tassels or sequins. Hijab should be plain and simple in design, with maximum coverage. Not a single hair can be shown and the neck must be covered. Plain colours such as black, brown, dark blue and white are best.
3) Do not wear make-up in front of any non-mahram males, that includes in laws. Do not leave the house wearing make-up. During Eid, using sparkly lip gloss, eyeshadow, and lipstick is perfectly fine. However, using a little makeup is okay as long as you don't abuse your right to wear it. However, there are still debates about whether or not you're allowed to wear it. Since there's no obvious answer, follow the tips above. If you're not sure about wearing it outside, that's okay, but you can wear it in front of a mahram.
4) Hijab is not just the headscarf. This is a common misconception. Skinny jeans, see-through clothes, and tight t-shirts messes up the whole modesty concept. It is preferable to wear an outer garment outside, such as an abaya or jilbab, because even loose clothing is sometimes not Islamic enough.

I know that it is quite difficult for you to go out wearing Hijab in a society that mocks and torments you. I know that you, indeed, feel strange and out of place. However, if you knew the status of those who are mocked by the Kufar as well as the status of the strangers, you will continue to wear your Hijab (i.e. to cover your entire body with a Khimar as commanded, as well as with a Jilbab, with the exception of the hands and face; however, knowing the recommendation to cover those parts (as well) with dignity. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in His Book:

"Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery); And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; and when they saw them, they said: ‘Verily! These have indeed gone astray!’ But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). But on this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers. On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?" [Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83:29-36]

Allah’s subhanahu wa ta'ala words should serve as a support for you my Muslimat. Also, take comfort in being a stranger among these lewd and sinful women .

The negative effects of insane love on the one who is loved include the following:

(a) He may suffer tension because of the lover’s insistence on seeing him and sitting with him, which may lead to his neglecting his work or falling short in tasks on which he should focus his mind and heart, such as seeking beneficial knowledge and doing righteous deeds.

(b) Another of the negative effects it may have on him is that he will never find this lover offering him sincere advice; rather he will turn a blind eye to his mistakes and shortcomings. As it is said, your love of a thing makes you blind and deaf!

(c) Another of its negative effects is that if he responds to the one who loves him, he will waste his time with him, and if he does not, he will cause him anxiety, which may lead him to hate him in the end.
