🌶️ ALIK Homemade Hot Sauce

🧾 Ingredients
• Fresh Red Chilies – 15 to 20
• Garlic – 6 to 8 cloves
• Onion – 1 small
• Vinegar – ½ cup
• Water – ½ cup
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Sugar or Jaggery – ½ tsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp
👨🍳 ALIK Preparation Method
1️⃣ Prepare the Chilies
• Wash chilies thoroughly and remove stems.
• Deseed for a milder sauce (optional).
2️⃣ Cook the Flavor Base
• Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
• Add garlic and onion, sauté until soft and aromatic.
• Add chilies and cook for 2–3 minutes.
3️⃣ Blend Until Smooth
• Transfer mixture into a blender.
• Add vinegar, water, salt, and sugar.
• Blend into a smooth spicy sauce.
4️⃣ Simmer the Sauce
• Pour sauce back into the pan.
• Simmer on low heat for 8–10 minutes until slightly thick.
• Adjust salt, vinegar, or sweetness to taste.
5️⃣ Cool & Bottle
• Let sauce cool completely.
• Pour into a sterilized glass bottle.
• Refrigerate for freshness.
