Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to regulate the poultry sector in Pakistan, according to Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister.

As per Firdous, the PM made this decision after considering the sector's price-fixing strategies. She mentioned that a bill would be introduced in parliament to put this sector under proper regulation.

She said that Pakistan's poultry sector had devolved into a mafia, necessitating its regulation.
