🌟 FVAS Alumni Spotlight

The Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (FVAS), Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan proudly celebrates the achievements of Dr. Karim Ullah Khan (DVM Session 2006–2010).

After completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Gomal University, Dr. Khan earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Stockton University, New Jersey, USA. Since 2016, he has been serving as Supervisor of Animal Health Control at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter, Atlantic County Department of Public Health, New Jersey, USA.

With expertise in animal health, zoonotic disease prevention, rabies control, shelter operations, and community outreach, Dr. Khan is committed to advancing the One Health approach, protecting both animal and human health. As a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), he continues to make meaningful contributions to public health and veterinary medicine.

FVAS takes great pride in the accomplishments of its alumni across the globe. We congratulate Dr. Karim Ullah Khan on his remarkable journey and wish him continued success in his professional endeavors.

اس وقت مختلف علاقوں میں تیز بارش کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ تمام شہریوں سے مؤدبانہ گزارش ہے کہ بلا ضرورت گھروں سے باہر نکلنے سے گریز کریں۔ خصوصاً ندی نالوں، برساتی ریلوں، پلوں اور نشیبی علاقوں کے قریب جانے سے ہر ممکن اجتناب کریں، کیونکہ اچانک سیلابی صورتحال پیدا ہو سکتی ہے۔

اپنی اور اپنے اہلِ خانہ کی حفاظت کو اولین ترجیح دیں، بچوں اور بزرگوں پر خصوصی توجہ رکھیں، اور کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال میں ضلعی انتظامیہ، ریسکیو اداروں اور متعلقہ حکام کی جاری کردہ ہدایات پر مکمل عمل کریں۔

مالاکنڈ ڈویژن میں ٹیکس کا نفاذ عوام پر معاشی حملہ ہے، فیصلہ فوری واپس لیا جائے

سوات اور پورے مالاکنڈ ڈویژن میں ٹیکس کے ممکنہ نفاذ کی سخت الفاظ میں مذمت کرتا ہوں۔ ایسے وقت میں جب عوام پہلے ہی مہنگائی اور معاشی مشکلات کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں، مزید ٹیکس عائد کرنا ناقابلِ قبول ہے۔

اہم نکات:
عوام دشمن اقدام: متاثرہ علاقوں کو ریلیف دینے کے بجائے ان پر مزید معاشی بوجھ ڈالنا عوام کے ساتھ ناانصافی ہے۔

آئینی و قانونی حیثیت: مالاکنڈ ڈویژن کی خصوصی آئینی و قانونی حیثیت کا احترام کیا جائے۔ عوام کے جائز حقوق کو نظر انداز کرنا کسی صورت مناسب نہیں۔

منتخب نمائندوں سے اپیل: تمام منتخب نمائندے سیاسی وابستگیوں سے بالاتر ہو کر عوامی مفاد میں متحد ہوں اور اس فیصلے کے خلاف مؤثر آواز بلند کریں۔

عوامی مفاد اور انصاف کا تقاضا ہے کہ حکومت اس فیصلے پر فوری نظرِ ثانی کرے اور مالاکنڈ ڈویژن کے عوام کے تحفظات کو سنجیدگی سے سنے۔

I am delighted to endorse Dr. Sarbiland Khan for President of PVMA KP Zone, recognizing his commitment to unity within our veterinary profession. Unity is fundamental to advancing animal health, public health, and the One Health initiative.
