GOD made a wonderful mother,A mother who never grows old;He made her smile of the sunshine,And He molded her heart of pure gold;In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,In her cheeks, fair roses you see;God made a wonderful mother,And He gave that dear mother to me.Mother You filled my days with rainbow lights,fairytales and sweet dream nights,A kiss to wipe away my tears,Gingerbread to ease my fears.You gave the gift of life to me,And then in love, you set me free.I thank you for your tender care,for deep warm hugs and being there.I hope that when you think of me,A part of you, you'll always see.My Mother's love is something that no on can explain,It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away .It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,And it never fails or falter seven though the heart is breaking . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems .It is far beyond defining,it defies all explanation,And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . A many splendorous miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.
