� آم کا موسم خوشیوں کا موسم ہے… مگر ایک لمحے کی لاپرواہی پوری زندگی بدل سکتی ہے۔

جنوبی پنجاب میں آموں کے باغات زیادہ ہونے کی وجہ سے درخت سے گر کر ریڑھ کی ہڈی کی چوٹ (Spinal Injury) کے کیسز بہت عام ہیں۔

صرف سرکاری ہی نہیں بلکہ نجی (پرائیویٹ) اسپتالوں میں بھی ایسے مریض بڑی تعداد میں لائے جاتے ہیں۔ صرف ایک سرکاری نیورو سرجری یونٹ میں ہی ہر ہفتے تقریباً 5 سے 6 اور ہر ماہ 24 سے 25 مریضوں کی ریڑھ کی ہڈی کی سرجری کی جاتی ہے۔ نجی اسپتالوں میں آنے والے ایسے مریضوں کی تعداد اس سے بھی تقریباً دوگنی ہوتی ہے۔

افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ ان میں سے زیادہ تر مریض نوجوان ہوتے ہیں، جو ایک لمحے میں چلنے پھرنے کی صلاحیت کھو بیٹھتے ہیں۔ بہت سے افراد عمر بھر کے لیے معذوری یا فالج کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں، اور پھر ان کی بحالی (Rehabilitation) پر برسوں تک وقت، محنت اور لاکھوں روپے خرچ ہوتے ہیں۔

🍃 چند آموں کے لیے اپنی پوری زندگی خطرے میں نہ ڈالیں۔

اگر آم یا کھجور توڑنی ہو تو محفوظ طریقہ اختیار کریں، مضبوط سیڑھی یا مناسب آلات استعمال کریں، اور غیر ضروری خطرہ مول نہ لیں۔

چہرے میں ایسا درد جیسے بار بار بجلی کے جھٹکے لگ رہے ہوں…

درد اتنا شدید کہ بعض مریض دیواروں سے سر ٹکرانے لگتے ہیں اور جینے سے تنگ آ جاتے ہیں۔ اسی لیے ٹرائجیمنل نیورالجیا کو ماضی میں “Suicide Disease” بھی کہا جاتا تھا۔

اکثر لوگ اسے دانت کا درد سمجھتے ہیں۔ بعض مریض تو سالوں دانتوں کا علاج کرواتے رہتے ہیں، حتیٰ کہ کئی اپنے ایک یا ایک سے زیادہ دانت نکلوا چکے ہوتے ہیں، لیکن درد پھر بھی ختم نہیں ہوتا۔

کیونکہ اصل مسئلہ دانت نہیں بلکہ چہرے کے ایک اعصاب (Trigeminal Nerve) کا ہوتا ہے جس پر خون کی نالی دباؤ ڈال رہی ہوتی ہے۔
