Can divine wrath understand mercy?
Can a man like Jim Corrigan ever truly find peace?

That is exactly the kind of DC storytelling I love when it works.

Dark, ambitious, strange and completely different from standard superhero comics 🖤📚

Tom Mandrake’s artwork gives the whole thing a perfect gothic atmosphere. Shadows, horror, supernatural imagery and that heavy spiritual mood are everywhere. It looks exactly like a Spectre comic should look.

This second omnibus collects the later part of the run and brings the story toward its conclusion, including major arcs like The Haunting of America, The Haunting of Jim Corrigan and The Search for God.

And I will not hide it… I really hope the publisher chooses the winter cover ❄️👻

If you like DC supernatural stories, Vertigo adjacent atmosphere, morally complex comics or books that actually try to say something, this is absolutely worth checking out.

💚 INCREDIBLE HULK: RETURN OF THE MONSTER OMNIBUS HC 💚

Dear friends, this is one of the big books from our newest delivery 📦📚

And honestly, INCREDIBLE HULK: RETURN OF THE MONSTER OMNIBUS HC is exactly the kind of Hulk comic I really like talking about.

Not just because it is big.

Not just because it is an omnibus.

But because this is Hulk as a monster story again.

This is not simply Bruce Banner smashing through walls and fighting whoever is unlucky enough to stand in front of him. This is a darker, more atmospheric take on the character, where fear, paranoia, trauma and mystery are just as important as raw power 🖤💚

For me, Hulk works best when the story remembers that he is not only a superhero.

He is also a nightmare.

A tragedy.

A walking disaster that Bruce Banner can never fully escape.

And Return of the Monster really leans into that feeling. There is a strong horror tone here, a sense of being hunted, a sense that something terrible is always waiting just around the corner. Bruce is constantly running, constantly trying to survive, and the Hulk feels less like a clean heroic solution and more like something dangerous hiding under the surface.

That is what makes this era so interesting 📖🔥

The artwork also fits that mood very well. It gives the story a heavy, tense, sometimes almost unsettling atmosphere. This is not colorful comfort food superhero storytelling. This is a Hulk book with shadows, tension and monster energy.

And that is exactly why it stands out.

If you like Hulk as tragedy, if you like Hulk as horror, if you like Bruce Banner stories where the emotional weight matters as much as the destruction, this omnibus is definitely worth your attention.

AZTEC ACE: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION 9781506731452 is one of those strange, ambitious, slightly forgotten gems that feels like it came from a completely different comic book universe.

And honestly?

That is a big part of its charm.

Created by Doug Moench, this is a wild mix of time travel, science fiction, historical adventure, mystery, mythology and old school comic book weirdness. The main idea alone already tells you that this is not another safe, predictable comic.

We follow Caza, also known as Ace, a time traveler moving between the Aztec Empire and the 23rd century, trying to protect reality from paradoxes and from the mysterious Nine Crocodile 🐊⏳

And yes, it gets weird.

Beautifully weird.

This is the kind of story where you can feel that the creators were not trying to build a simple product. They were building a dense, unusual, intelligent adventure with its own rhythm, its own rules and its own personality.

Is it for everyone?

Probably not.

But if you like comics that are ambitious, a little eccentric, full of ideas and very different from standard superhero storytelling, this one is absolutely worth your attention.

For me, books like this are exactly why sales are fun. You can discover something that is not obvious, not constantly pushed by algorithms, and not part of the same five franchises everyone already knows.
