Our prototype vehicle is taking shape, and we’re thrilled with the progress! As we continue to refine our design, we’re keeping sustainability at the forefront. We're finally back after a break that was necessitated by our intense focus on constructing and testing our prototype bike vehicle. Every free minute was dedicated to making progress, and we've been working tirelessly to bring this project to life.

While we're excited to share a few snapshots of our prototype, we're still conducting numerous tests and discussions to ensure it meets the highest standards for production.

The amount of plastic is becoming more and more overwhelming. Plastic waste has become one of the main problems of the modern world.
What if we could reduce the amount of plastic waste by making a bicycle out of it?
The Dutch startup MTRL came up with this idea in cooperation with a German company specializing in plastic processing. And that's how the Igus bike was created.
Advantages? There are many of them. But the most important thing is:

🌱 it helps protects the environment
🗑 it reduces the amount of plastic waste
🪶 It is lightweight
⚙️ it doesn’t rust
🚲 It doesn’t need lubrication
🪣 Each element is produced from plastic waste
💡 Each bicycle is made out of approximately 16 kilograms of waste
