What a wonderful weekend it was! The 16th Warsaw Instrument Fair has come to an end. I finally had the opportunity to meet many of the customers in person! :D A huge dose of inspiration, tons of valuable feedback, many kind words, and fascinating conversations with the makers of other instruments. LOW D!

I'm still working on lower keys (currently F and G). In the meantime... I've managed to develop a low D with a slightly different design 🤣

It's a narrow-bore, with a curved windway. The mouthpiece consists of six precisely matched parts. It has gentle backpressure, uses little air, and, like my other whistles, the bellnote isn't particularly powerful, but it's very easy to play up to the third octave. It should be great for playing at home or with a microphone. In sessions, it should perform similarly to most low Ds, there are some louder low D whistles out there for sure. Low D similar to my high whistles (straight windway) will also be available in the future.

Hello everyone!

Recently I have developed two new high whistle models. Brass and aluminum, both with delrin fippleblocks. The use of this material almost completely eliminated the problem of clogging, with minimal impact on the sound (slightly cleaner, smoother, less percussive tone). This makes them extremely beginner friendly and satisfying to play. Plus, it takes much less time to warm up the instrument to achieve optimal intonation. The design is identical to the classic model - in case of the brass whistle, the wall thickness is also 1.5 mm, which makes the instrument quite massive (approx. 160 g). In my opinion, the feeling of playing is really good, and the massive wall makes the low and high notes even more even. Of course, the brass alloy I used does not contain lead and is suitable for the production of musical instruments.

Currently, I have a few high D whistles ready for sale. Other available keys are high C, Eb and E.
