Know Your Fabric -

Linen is probably the most popular fabric in our workshop - and honestly, it’s easy to see why.

Historical, natural, breathable, skin-friendly, available in countless colours and patterns… and incredibly versatile. From lightweight underwear and shirts to sturdy padded garments.💪

But linen gets really interesting once you start working with it regularly. Because not all linen is the same.🧐

The quality depends heavily on the fibres used to make the yarn. Longer fibres create fabric that is stronger, ages better, and drapes far more beautifully. Blended fabrics may be cheaper, but they simply don’t behave the same way as pure linen.

That’s why we’ve always chosen 100% natural linen for our garments.🌱

It’s breathable, durable, moisture-absorbing, naturally anti-static, and perfect for layers worn close to the body — especially during warmer months.

In our workshop we use 3⃣ main linen weights:
▪ lightweight for underwear and shirts
▪ medium for tunics, dresses and everyday garments
▪ heavy for more durable pieces like padded gear

And patterned linen? That’s an easy way to give any outfit a more noble, courtly look.👑

How not to love linen?

Custom Mini Soldier tent made on a special order ⚔️

Two-tone build in blue and white. Compact size, meant either as a one-person shelter or a small storage space in a camp setup.

Worth noting is the wool banner with an appliqué detail - a small but visible accent that gives it more character.

We’re open to taking on similar custom projects if you have something specific in mind.

Not your average hat.

The Crown felt cap - custom edition - finished with a layer of patterned, historically inspired fabric on the outside. It adds height, presence, and just the right amount of drama.😎

In this version, it wouldn’t look out of place at a royal court.👑

A bold choice for a true medieval dandy.

Men's houppelande. This iconic court garment is all about volume, presence, and detail: sweeping lines, high collars, and richly decorated finishes.

Perfect for reenactment, LARP, or even a historically inspired wedding, the houppelande is as versatile as it is striking. Unlike the floor-length women’s version, men’s styles came in a range of lengths - from practical mid-calf cuts to long, ceremonial silhouettes. Whichever you choose, the effect is the same: unmistakable status.

Complete the look with a chaperon, add a leather belt with a pouch, gloves, boots, garters, and wool trousers — and you’ve got a full late medieval outfit ready to turn heads.

Looking for historical references? Similar cuts appear in manuscripts like The Belles Heures of Jean de France, duc de Berry (1405–1409), illuminated by the Limbourg brothers, as well as in works inspired by Giovanni Boccaccio.

The Italian Gambeson is one of the longest garments in our range, reaching all the way down to the knees. Its design is inspired by 14th-century sources from Northern Italy, combining historical accuracy with practical functionality for reenactment and medieval combat.

This padded tunic is designed to be pulled over the head and fastened at the left side of the neck with two pewter buttons. Both the outer shell and the lining are made of natural linen, ensuring breathability and comfort during use.

The body of the gambeson features several distinct quilting patterns:
▪️zigzag stitching on the torso (front and back)
▪️horizontal quilting on the collar, upper sleeves, and lower hem
▪️vertical quilting on the lower sleeves (from elbow down)

The lower part of the garment is additionally decorated with three horizontal contrasting bands and decorative cut-out edging, giving it a distinctive medieval silhouette.

A dress that doesn’t whisper. It commands attention.

Our take on the Burgundian gown blends flowing elegance with a bold silhouette. Long, fitted sleeves, a deep V neckline, and a trailing back create that unmistakable 15th-century presence. Cinch it just under the bust with a belt and let the shape do the rest.

Inspired by artworks like Portrait of a Lady and the illuminated pages of the Hours of Mary of Burgundy - where fashion was already a statement of power.

A custom set styled with the Renaissance shirt we showed you recently.

This time: a bold red wool mask (very Zorro energy) and a matching hood with cutwork details and a short liripipe.

Not quite a pirate, not quite an executioner… but undeniably striking.⚡️
