Our Fernando Arming Doublet is inspired by garments worn throughout the 14th and 15th centuries, combining historical authenticity with a versatile cut suitable for both civilian and military impressions. This particular piece is crafted entirely from 100% linen, giving it a distinctive look and feel perfect for warmer events and campaigns.

Featuring a period-correct waist seam, characteristic front cut-outs, and attachment points for hose, Fernando draws inspiration from historical sources such as the famous Gladiatoria manuscripts.

A medieval shirt… but made from wool? 👀

Before you say "that sounds way too warm", hear us out. This is a special lightweight wool fabric that remains comfortable even in warmer weather. It’s breathable, surprisingly pleasant against the skin, and has a character all its own.

Take a closer look at the fabric detail in the photos – the subtle woven pattern adds depth and texture that are difficult to capture from a distance, but absolutely worth appreciating up close.
