COMP in KAUNAS, THAT WAS A GOOD ONE. 🇱🇹💚

176 athletes. One wall. Two days of World Climbing competition at Boulder House Kaunas.

Our green COMP line was part of the setting, shaped into demanding competition movement by João Évora Alina Wojnar and among others locals including Kipras Baltrunas Arturas Volkovas and Mikhail Kochetkov

Big respect to the whole setting team and Lietuvos laipiojimo sporto federacija (LLSF) for bringing the Europe Series to Lithuania.

M10 Bolt vs. Screws: What’s holding better big holds?

When mounting big holds with M10 holes, relying on the wrong fastening setup compromises both gym safety and plywood longevity. Here is why M10 bolts remain the recommended standard:

🛠️ Dedicated Load Capacity: Built to absorb extreme dynamic forces, holding up to 500–700kg via the steel T-nut and plywood load capacity.
🔄 High Reuse Repeatability: Allows hundreds of resets without stripping the structural integrity of your wall’s grid points.
🛠️The Ultimate Combo: Always use M10 as your primary anchor, and add 4.5–5mm Spax screws solely as an anti-spin backup to lock the hold flat against the veneer.

Warsaw based young gun… super strong climber of new panel era. Starting to work on moving his Plastic strength to natural Rocks nowadays. His strength (during interview we asked him to perform one hand pull-up and he passed it easily 🤣💪) is expressed in his work and attitude with no fear of learning and supporting rest of the production team.

Filip is really mellow in his attitude and very curious about the world… listens to bunch of podcasts we don’t understand maybe they are too smart for us 🤔 but not for Filip he seems to be smart and one interesting fact he loves theatre 🎭 and somewhere deep has a punkrock soul…🤘

Urban playground 🛝

We are still ona chase to test START holds in different setups. If you want to find absolute beginners where would you go?

Setting a quality easy problem is sometimes harder than setting a V10. That’s why we took our brand-new START line for some urban playground testing. 🛠️🏙️
