❤️🖤💚 As we close out another Black August… what did we actually learn?

What did the focus on studying give us? What did the fasting show us about ourselves? Did the training sharpen the sword and remind us that WE are the ultimate weapon?

Don’t get it twisted, we’re in a fight. But the month ending doesn’t end the work. We carry that discipline into September, the rest of the year & however long it takes.

The OG’s that are no longer with us left us more than history. They left us instructions. We honor them by continuing the work.

And there are STILL political prisoners. Say their names. Support them. What’s the call?…FREE ’EM ALL. ✊🏾

🤔 The hood was never the problem. The conditions were.

Yes making it “out the hood” deserves a salute cuz this thing is designed to keep us trapped but in the same breath, making it out & deciding everybody left behind is on their own? Naw. That ain’t it.

What if success wasn’t how far you got from your community but how much power you brought back to transform it? 🧐

Don’t just make it out. Make a way for us… all of us.
