You know how life goes… one minute you’re happily settled in the Algarve, and the next you find yourself packing up and moving again. Life is so unpredictable, and somehow I seem to be always changing places 😅.
This time, family calls 🏡 and it’s time for me to be closer to home in Lisbon, to slow down a little and reorganize life. That also means I’ll be closing the shop here in the Algarve. It’s not a goodbye forever, but more of a pause. A chance to breathe, reflect, and make space for whatever new adventures are waiting around the corner (and you know there will be some!).
And let’s be honest… maybe it’s also time for a little break from Algarve life: the heat I can no longer stand at my age, fish on the table every single day (how much “healthy living” can one handle? 🐟😂), and the never-ending sun that makes even siestas feel like work. Oh — and just when I was finally cracking the sotaque algarvio, it’s time to leave. Typical! 😉
I cannot forget to express my deep appreciation for my wonderful suppliers, their families, and the warmth with which they welcomed me. These journeys brought me into the company of gentle souls and incredible places, and I’ve learned so much that I can truly say I am not the same person anymore. Each trip confirmed to me how much we need each other, that women must support women, that this is our fight, our planet, and our people. Despite borders, we are all human beings, often just scared of failing, but stronger together.
I want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who has been part of this journey, from the very beginning until now. To those who followed along, trusted me, bought my pieces, and believed in this little project of mine: you have no idea how much it has meant to me. Each piece that found its way into your homes felt like sending a part of my heart with it, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the love and support 🙏
