🌴 SPALTED SYCAMORE BOWL | FINALLY!🍁
➖
Ok, so here are some shots of the finished bowl.
➖
It wasn't turned, I used an angle grinder with a woodcarving disc (video on my feed).
➖
Unfortunately some great spalted stains are not very visible, as you can see from the bottom picture.
➖
A little on the ins and outs of the origins of the wood.
➖
It was from a dying three at work, I took all of it and brought home to my wife's despair. 🙃

🌴 SPALTED SYCAMORE BOWL🍁
➖
I'm making this bowl for quite a while now. ⏳
➖
Although the angle grinder works well with that woodcarving disc, the task takes a few hours, so gotta put the work to take a piece out of it. 😅
➖
I´ll have to do one or two sessions for finishing and sanding, so more to come soon! 💪🏼
➖

🌴 SPALTED SYCAMORE STUMP🍁
➖
A little on the ins and outs of this log.
➖
It was from a dying three at work, I took all of it and brought home to my wife's despair. 😅
➖
So now I've sprayed some mineral oil and the color changed, more to come!

This is the workbench sawmill I’m working on. It is a clever solution that while not in use will serve as a regular bench. More to come!

Part of a Sawmill bench I’m working on. Gotta find a way to slice those logs! 🪓
