With the kids home for the holidays, there’s not much chance of working on anything new. 😅
So, time for an experiment. I’m going to knit a goose and felt it in the washing machine. Let’s see what happens. 👀

So… we were watching Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland with the kids, and I saw those frogs in their little red tailcoats. And that was it. I needed a frog. 😄🐸

I was also a little stuck with my own designs at the time. I kept thinking about my otter and just couldn’t figure out what I wanted him to look like.
So I thought it might be nice to stop designing for a bit and just knit.

And it was exactly what I needed. I tried some new shapes and techniques, followed someone else’s pattern for a change, and just enjoyed knitting without thinking ten steps ahead. 💚
The pattern is by Claire Garland

This little guy is going to a friend, which I’m already slightly regretting. 😂
So I’ll definitely have to make another one for myself. Next time I think I’ll add wire to his arms and legs so they can be posed.
And yes… I’m still thinking about that red tailcoat. 🐸
