TREASURE OF THE DAY! 💎 TALBOT SAMBA CACRIOLET 😎

A proper 1980s throwback! 🚗☀️

We spotted this stunning Talbot Samba Cabriolet while out and about today, and we just had to stop and take a proper look.

For those who might not know the history, the Talbot Samba was launched in 1981 as PSA’s last hurrah for the Talbot brand before it was phased out. But to give the range a splash of glamour, they reached out to the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina to create this soft-top edition in 1982.

At the time, it was advertised as the world's smallest and most economical four-seater convertible. With its roll-cage structure, retro wheels, and plush beige interior, it captured that easy-going 80s summer lifestyle perfectly.

Finding one today—especially preserved this well and with the hood folded back—is a real treat for any car spotter!

Summer & camping vibes …. ☀️🏖️ - The Mercedes-Benz L 207 ‘Harburger Transporter’ Campervan 🚐✨

Spotted on the road: a true rolling piece of European automotive history! Behind that iconic three-pointed star and the vintage Portuguese registration plates lies a fascinating tale of mid-century industrial evolution.
While its badge says “2.0.7”, this is not your typical 1980s boxy Mercedes. This beautiful machine is a proud member of the “Harburger Transporter” family, produced between 1970 and 1977. Its DNA can be traced right back to the legendary Tempo Matador and the Hanomag F-series, before Daimler-Benz took over production in Harburg, Germany.
Driven by a 2.0-litre petrol engine delivering around 70 hp (hence the ‘07’ in its name), this front-wheel-drive classic was highly sought after by coachbuilders. Its low, flat tubular chassis made it the ultimate canvas for a bespoke holiday home on wheels.
Covered in travel badges and carrying a roof rack ready for an endless surf odyssey, this survivor reminds us of a golden era when the journey mattered just as much as the destination. A living testament to durability, freedom, and classic style.

part of the 120 Series (1956-1970), was a significant model, introducing styling and practicality with its distinctive two-piece tailgate, solidifying Volvo’s reputation as a leader in safe, reliable family estates. Introduced in 1962, it offered durability with updated engines like the B18 and B20, advanced features for its time (front disc brakes, overdrive), and became popular globally, though production ended in 1969 for the wagon, a year before the last Amazon saloon.
