MADAGASCAR ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARDS
This is 15 years old Dalbergia greveana, one of the rarest Madagascar rosewoods, one can see the difference by its violet color either darker or lighter. One of its special features is the interlocked grain, making it very hard and stiff. However, it is a bit lighter than Dalbergia baronii with a density of approximately 870kg/m3 measured by ourselves.
The acoustic properties are excellent, and the perfect balance between high resonance, loud tap tone, and long-lasting sustain shows harmonic complexity full of overtones.
Fingerboards available from 25 euro each.

Discover the wonders of Sinker Western Red Cedar.
These tops were sliced around 10 years ago and salvaged from naturally fallen trees during the 1960’s and 1970’s storms, in the margins and in the Kootenay River in British Columbia, Canada. These were very large and old trees, the exact age is hard to tell.
Sinker cedar is for tops as Brazilian rosewood is for back and sides. The density and stiffness is higher than regular cedar, so it is the sound. In the sinker tops one can find trebles at the European spruce level with all the excellent and natural cedar acoustic properties as smoothness and warmth. In the guitar these tops should go a bit thinner than the regular cedar. The tap tone shows harmonic complexity, loud volume, glassy and one can feel sub-basses as well.
Visually they look awesome; one can see several beautiful colours contrasting or merging with each other. The tops are naturally dried as they should and ready to use straight away.
