🎉 WOW! What an incredible night for Tavira 2nd Chance! 🎉A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to The Black Anchor Irish Bar for our fundraising quiz. Thanks to your amazing generosity and competitive spirit, we raised a phenomenal €505! ❤️This incredible amount will go directly toward supporting local families in our community who need a helping hand. We truly could not do this vital work without the kindness of this wonderful community.🏆 Huge Congratulations to our Winners:1st Place: Team tomato/tomato 🍅 (Absolute trivia champions!)The "So Close" Award: The David's for clinching Second to Last place! 👏🧠 Special Thanks to:Our fantastic Quiz Master, Sharon, who was on absolute top form! Together, we provided:🛒 A huge trolley packed full of vital food donations📦 Essential plastic food containers for meal packaging🛍️ Bags for life to help distribute meals safelyRefood Tavira does amazing work providing food for the needy right here in Tavira, and we are honored to stand alongside them.🙏 A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful community. :🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL! 📚✨The new school year is just around the corner, and Tavira 2nd Chance is proud to support our local youth!We recently sat down with Sara, Aline, and Dr. Miguel from Cafap - Portas do Amigo and the Foster Home in Fonte Salgada (CAT) to find out exactly what the children need for a successful start.Thanks to our amazing network, we were able to purchase and deliver:👟 Brand new shoes🧦 Fresh socks🎒 Sturdy rucksacksWe are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help and support our local community. Thank you to everyone who makes this vital work possible! Together, we are giving these children the tools and confidence they need to thrive. ❤️

Tavira 2nd Chance would like to share a response we received from DANCA A MENTE for a donation we recently gave to them. Included in the performers will be some children/young adults from Tavira and the surrounding areas.

We would like to express our gratitude for your generous donation to our project. It means a great deal to all of us.

It is with great enthusiasm that the Dança a Mente Project, an independent adapted and inclusive dance project based in Faro, presents its new show.

Our mission focuses on promoting social inclusion, well-being, individual empowerment, autonomy, and creativity, contributing to a more attentive and conscious view of the talent of all people, regardless of their characteristics.

The show "Dança a Mente" (Dance the Mind) , which will take place on June 14, 2026 , at 4 pm , in the Great Auditorium of the Gambelas Campus of the University of Algarve .

This show is inspired by the experiences of a person with autism, ADHD, and other conditions, seeking to showcase and demystify different ways of perceiving the world throughout a day in each person's life.
