Tavira 2nd Chance would like to share a response we received from DANCA A MENTE for a donation we recently gave to them. Included in the performers will be some children/young adults from Tavira and the surrounding areas.

We would like to express our gratitude for your generous donation to our project. It means a great deal to all of us.

It is with great enthusiasm that the Dança a Mente Project, an independent adapted and inclusive dance project based in Faro, presents its new show.

Our mission focuses on promoting social inclusion, well-being, individual empowerment, autonomy, and creativity, contributing to a more attentive and conscious view of the talent of all people, regardless of their characteristics.

The show "Dança a Mente" (Dance the Mind) , which will take place on June 14, 2026 , at 4 pm , in the Great Auditorium of the Gambelas Campus of the University of Algarve .

This show is inspired by the experiences of a person with autism, ADHD, and other conditions, seeking to showcase and demystify different ways of perceiving the world throughout a day in each person's life.

€505 Raised! (And only a few brain cells lost...) 🧠💰

A massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who packed out the Black Anchor Irish Bar for our Tavira 2nd Chance fundraising quiz!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised a fantastic €505 to support our cause!

Sharon showed zero mercy with her delightfully devious questions, leading to a neck-and-neck finish:

🏆 The Brainboxes: Congrats to University Challenged, who clinched first place by a tiny 2-point margin!

🏋️‍♂️ The Heavy Lifters: A legendary shoutout to Hot and Sweaty, who heroically held up the entire leaderboard from the bottom.
Your team name perfectly described the room!

Today morning we went to Queijaria do Azinhal for a visit and produce fresh cheese. Was a lovely experience and we produce 25 cheeses.
Thank you for your donations. With that money we can provide amazing experiences to our residents!!!!!
