FAUNA is back. This time in the summer heat. 🦉
VON BÜLOVE, REKABU, VLAD NANCĂ in the garden and greenhouse of PRIMITIV PLANTS and at Black Habit, Calea Griviței 73, Bucharest.
This is one event in a series.

FAUNA LTD is a translocal menagerie migrated within the Romanian diurnal habitat. Re-emerging on the 27th and 28th of June 2026, taking root here for a series of events. Their name does not lie — they are returning in search of new biotopes to deliver ideal conditions for the next stage of their evolution. 🌱

Lineup:

VON BÜLOVE / Cosima Opartan, founding member of Q***r Night since 2010 and part of Corp. since 2016 — collectives dealing with music, performance and sometimes nothing. Von Bülove is one of her musical identities: digging out affectively filtered musical gems and rendering them to various audiences.

VLAD NANCĂ / His practice revolves around the colonization of space, architectural modernism, and the relationship between ideologies and architecture — sculptures, video art, and installations exploring the effects of totalitarian systems on individuals and our relationship to the built environment.

REKABU / An amateur instigator of Bucharest's sonic paradoxes. Known to a very select circle of friends (and maybe a few neighbors) for digging up tracks you didn't know you needed — a beautifully unpredictable ride tailored perfectly for a garden setting, a sort of crooked backyard ambient. 🌙

Toată echipa noastră este plecată împreună la un proiect — unul dintre acele momente în care ieșim din seră ca să construim ceva nou.

Ne cerem scuze dacă v-am stricat planurile și vă așteptăm de vineri cu drag. 🌿

We should get together — this weekend, May 30th and 31st.
Because spring is almost over, it's warm, and it's beautiful outside — and that's reason enough.

Lineup:

BORUSIADE / Miruna Boruzescu has been DJing since 2002, one of the very few female DJs in Bucharest's emerging alternative clubbing scene. Influenced by a classical music education, a bachelor's degree in film direction and a fascination with raw electronic sounds — genre-bending releases on Cómeme, Pinkman, Cititrax, and Dark Entries.

APPARATUS22 / Apparatus 22 is a transdisciplinary art collective founded in January 2011 by current members Erika Olea, Maria Farcas, Dragos Olea together with Ioana Nemes (1979-2011) in Bucharest, Romania. Beginning with 2015 they are working between Brussels and Bucharest. They see themselves as a collective of dreamers, researchers, poetic activists and (failed) futurologists interested in exploring the intricate relationships between economy, politics, gender studies, social movements, religion and fashion in order to understand contemporary society.

PAD #9 — CORP BOTANIC @ Primitiv Plants

Se întâmplă la noi weekendul ăsta — Piața de Artă și Design, ediția 9, dar altfel decât până acum: doar instalații, în seră, sub tema CORP BOTANIC.
Lucrări despre corp ca obiect și volum, pornind de la plante și extinzându-se către anatomic, biologic, mineral.

✨ Curatoriată de 💚💚💚

👇 Cine expune:
🌿 Lea Rasovszky — voce puternică de la noi, cu subiecte marginale, cultură pop și un strat de ironie.
🌿 Emilian Pospaii — fibre naturale, hârtie, tapiserii, ilustrații cu versuri. A expus recent la MNAR.
🌿 Matei Bejenaru — unul dintre cei mai importanți artiști români contemporani. A expus la Tate Modern și la Bienala de la Veneția.
🌿 Luca Florian — pictor tânăr, absolvent de Düsseldorf, lucrări între vis și memorie.
🌿 Vlad Albu — sculptor, tocmai preluat de galeria Gaep, lucrează cu echilibru și tensiune.
🌿 Diana Vasilescu — ceramică și grafică, între tradițional și contemporan.
🌿 Ovidiu Toader — sculptor din Brașov, face creaturi din inox cu tehnica tablei gonflate. A câștigat anul trecut Premiul pentru Tineret al UAP și a expus la Collezione Maramotti și ICR Berlin.
🌿 What's Wrong Duo — din care face parte Sandra Berghianu, dragă mie de când lucra pe ceramică. S-a format pe roata de olărit în Japonia și avea o sensibilitate aparte pentru formele organice din natură.
🌿 Daniel Codrescu, Mihai Plătică, Ștefania Iakab-Chirca și Taisia Corbuț — completează line-up-ul, fiecare cu practica lui legată de corp, materie și spațiu.

🛍️ Magazinul rămâne deschis — puteți trece să alegeți o plantă sau un ghiveci, am făcut restock special ca să fie abundență. Am adus și flori tăiate, ca de obicei. Singura mențiune: discuțiile și întâlnirile pentru proiecte le vom limita sau programa în funcție de timp, ca să ne putem ocupa de toată lumea cm trebuie.
