I have been dreaming about building, Guitar Amplifiers for a decade. Six years ago together with my old friend Paul Binyukov we have started Trueman Amplification with the idea of making the perfect gear for musicians. I just wanted to make amps and pedals I always had been dreaming of for myself. Paul is a professional engineer and very talented musician, we played for several years in a band, Paul played the drums and I was on the bass. After we our amp building journey we spent several years meticuosly studing all possible amp schematics to find out the most beautiful and efficient inventions and decisions, and to touch the Holy Grail of guitar tone.
Supernova Amp is the pinnacle of our amp thought regarding the legacy of the Great British Crunch from the early 1960s up to the modern days. And it has been a while I have been dreaming about the design and the looks of the amp which would become the Epitome of the Californian Guitar Tone starting from the late 1950s and mid 1960s up to date. It is very important for us to create guitar gear that would inspire you to play and that would be very comfortable and so familiar that you would feel yourself having time with a good old buddy and will focus on making music and having pure fun.
California Dream is the elegy to the most beautiful period of the 1960s when people were so strong in their dreams to change the world into a better place and to navigate through stars towards new beautiful places. The period when the imagination was not still captivated by cell phones and people were open to new discoveries and wonders.
California Dream would have 2 channels - one of them would be based on the original wide panel Bassman 1959 and the other on the iconic 1965 blackface legend. The amp would be equiped with a true spring reverb and 2-types tremolo inspired by the brownface harmonic tremolos and blackface vibratos.2 stage Trueman booster, Fx loop, Headphone Out, Recording Out with switchable cabinet simulation, Built-in Attenuator and Internal Amp Load, Low weight and Compact Size would make it your perfect companion.
