This was one hell of a journey! We are thankful to each and every one of you who believed in this game and helped us make it a reality :)
You mentioned $1000 was on the table?
You read that correctly! We’ve recently made the Deluxe Edition free for the first 2 weeks of launch and promised another treat for the fans. It’s time to reveal it :)
You can get $1000 towards your Steam wishlist by completing the following steps:
Record a video made from the release version of INSOMNIA: The Ark - it can be a short, funny vid with captions or a full fledged narrated let’s play / review. Whatever you feel best captures the game’s atmosphere, characters, encounters...literally anything you want!
Upload it to the Videos tab in our Steam Community Hub AND add a description indicating that it was made specifically for the contest and telling us whatthe vid is about. This is a way for us to know what videos are actually participating. As a bonus, you can leave a link to the vid in the comments section below this post.
Spread the word and tell your friends, so they can show their support by liking your vid in the game’s Community Hub, since this will be one of the parameters we will be taking into account other than our team’s votes.
Please note that this video should be made specifically for the contest and you must use a full game version that just released (not a demo or any of the closed beta builds). In addition, we might ask you to provide us with the original video file to check that you’ve actually made it yourself (and not just downloaded it from some other player), as well as for potential use in future HeroCraft promotional activities. By participating in this contest, you agree with the terms listed above.
Videos will be accepted till October 18th and we will announce the lucky winner the very next day. $1000 will be added to his or her Steam Wallet via digital gift cards or a direct Steam Wallet top-up. We will also be giving away 2 HeroCraft Developer Bundles (8 games worth $106) as runner-up prizes.
