Safely Using Wax Melts
Wax melts are an incredibly easy and versatile way to fill your home with beautiful fragrances. If you're new to using them or want to ensure you're doing so safely, here’s a quick guide to get the most out of your wax melts.

**How to Use Wax Melts Safely**:
1. **Choose a Good Quality Burner**
Make sure your burner is designed for wax melts and compatible with a four-hour tea light. Burners available from Scents Devine.
2. **Use a Four-Hour Tea Light Only**
Always use a tea light with a maximum burn time of four hours. Using longer burning tea lights can overheat your burner, causing safety issues and damaging your melts.
3. **Place Your Wax Melt in the Burner**
Simply place your favorite wax melt in the well of the burner. Only one or two cubes are enough to give a room-filling fragrance!
4. **Light the Tea Light**
Safely light the tea light and place it underneath the burner. Enjoy the wonderful scent that fills your space!
5. **Never Leave Unattended**
Always extinguish the tea light when leaving the room or before going to bed. Safety first!
6. **Use and reuse**
Reuse your wax melt until the scent fades, or you get fed up and fancy a change. Scents Devine wax melts last for three full power burns.
**Cleaning the Burner**:
1. **Allow the Wax to Cool & Harden**
After you’re done using the melt, let the wax cool and harden in the burner.
2. **Gently Heat the Well**
Once you're ready to clean it, light a tea light under the burner for just 30 seconds or so. This will gently warm the well and loosen the wax without fully melting it.
3. **Pop Out the Wax**
The wax should easily pop out, ready for you to replace it with a new fragrance!
