My mum made the best fondant icing roses, I tried to make one bud she had already created about 7 full roses, so I'd always leave it up to her. I was very nervous to continue without her, and my first attempt was poor, I gave up, and left it to my sisters. Roses are so beautiful that I always have the urge to add them to my cake designs. So the next cake I made I was determined to master this skill. I asked for her guidance and channeling her creativity I finally managed to produce half decent roses.
