Proud to exhibit with my dear mother watercolour artist Margo in Simrishamn!

The exhibition INSPIRATION / RELATION presents a unique convergence between design and art with work by us and my brilliant friends and colleagues:

We get to know the people behind the works, where the different relationships play a role in what is created. Mother and daughter, brothers and a son - and as collaborators. We get to see how they inspired each other through their different artistic expressions and how this has enriched them - in thoughts, function and different materials.

My mother has always been a great source of inspiration to me so I am especially delighted to collaborate with her exhibiting one items from my latest art glass projects ’Harvest’ handmade at with her amazing watercolour paintings. They go very well together don’t you think?

Welcome to my lecture next week Malmstens LiU in Stockholm!

This year Malmstens LiU runs a series of lectures based on their chair library. The project is initiated by designer and aimed at students, but also open to the public!

In this lecture, I will focus on the design process and what drives me forward in search of new functions, expression and emotional content.
As a designer, I am constantly exploring crafts and industrial production focusing on materials and how they influence our perception of an object. Natural materials are close to my heart, using them in a careful, sustainable way to create long-lasting designs. Excellent design triggers our emotions and materials plays a great part while designing - or as I call it - giving an object a soul that can be loved.

A special thanks to for donating a Spira Chair, the very first prototype to the Malmstens LiU chair library.

…got a request from a client having selected my Spira wooden furniture series from NK for her kitchen, now she needed more seats for her growing family. I suggested a bench and sent her a sketch and Harvest Bench was born!
Made out of oak or ash, inspired by traditional Swedish folk furniture but reinterpreted with a contemporary expression. Built using the minimum number of components, the turned stretcher—with its exposed end grain in the seat—adds both durability and beauty. The bench can be used for seating or as an additional surface and is made in Sweden with exceptional care and craftsmanship.

Happy to launch a new project The Harvest, in collaboration with Orranäs Glasbruk at NK !

Generations of farmers’ hard work form the foundation of today’s welfare. I’m fascinated by humanity’s ability to cultivate and draw the best from nature. Through my lifelong involvement with horses, I spend a lot of time in the countryside and have gained insight into agricultural life from an early age. In the past, people were better at managing resources—something I wanted to apply in this project. Together with the glassblowers at Orranäs Glassworks in Småland, she created The Harvest, a series of vases, bowls and platters in various sizes. The vase moulds are made from parts of an old abandoned hay tedder, a farming tool used to turn hay in the field to speed up drying. The tool marks leave traces from a bygone era in the glass, while creating a new and unexpected visual expression.

The Harvest is a new direction for me where I give myself room as a designer to explore more artistic directions making ’a lot from a little’ inspired by historical agricultural methods and tools.

Happy to announce the launch of Gemma Chandelier - a new design for !
Gemma is a contemporary design inspired by classic crystal chandeliers.

As a designer, I am constantly exploring materials and how they affect our experience of an object. Natural materials are close to my heart, and with Gemma I wanted to maximize the potential of glass in interaction with the light. The organic glass spires hang like cut jewels and form a dense, rhythmic sculptural pattern where the light is reflected, refracted and comes to life. Each crystal contributes to the whole and creates a vibrant play of light that changes depending on the viewer’s position and the room’s lighting conditions. The name Gemma means ”jewel” in Latin, a suitable name for a relaxed, glamorous ceiling lamp that can uplift any interior with hint of everyday glamour! ✨

By Rydens is a Swedish lighting company based in Gnosjö, Småland, manufacturing and selling lamps and lighting solutions for both home and public environments.
The company was founded in 1958 and has a long tradition in lighting design and entrepreneurship characterized by the local ‘Gnosjö spirit’.

Gemma will be launched Echo, a new design exhibition debuting during Stockholm Design Days, 3-6 February, 2026. I will be there to present Gemma together with ByRYdens welcome to join us friends!

Gemla Meadow Cushion is made of finest tärnsjö leather made from leftover pieces of other production. Gemla simply sent me bag
of small pieces of leftover leather and from there I worked out a design of a cushion that would complement their
iconic bentwood furniture. Bow sofa in the image is also my design, rewarded both Residence Award 2014 and Lautritz Award in 2017. You can find both items on sale or ordered from Gemla.

Happy to announce the launch Accordion table together with !
The manifesto, “form follows function” never really appealed to me. But if function becomes a beautiful feature itself and engineering fuses with art, I am fascinated!

With this project I set out to design a contemporary drop-leaf table, focusing on the folding mechanism as the main feature of the table.   After studying many foldable tables from traditional folklore to more modern ones, I focused on creating a simple functional mechanism with an unexpected sculptural beauty present in all stages of expanding and contracting – like an accordion.

With Accordion drop-leaf table, there is always room for one more person, or more work surface.

The process of developing Accordion for production together with has been a true pleasure resulting in a slimmer version of the table in finest solid oak with attention to all details. I am so pleased with the result!

Truly great week in Italy working with new designs for together with . The journey included supplier visits working on the factory floor - always with new learnings and inspiration! We also had time to stop and visit the most amazing deli, bringing home some delicious Italian cheese and ham for the family begore finishing of in Stockholm shooting a film for another upcoming project! Stay tuned more news to be released soon! I wish you all a lovely weekend friends! 🇮🇹💚
