Today’s class! There were two but one wanted to maintain his secret identity. 🥷
We made some (almost) bunkas and had some good talks, as always a pleasure!

This is my contribution for this years the.edge.of.hope charity project!

We recieved a piece of amazing damasteel and got free rein on what to make. Ofcorse I had to make a breadsword, because I just know that all the other makers involved in this project will make amazing knives!

As always, a fricking pleasure working with Damasteel materials.

Thanks a lot for involving me in this charity, I really appreciate it! 🍞🗡️

This week I was visited by some old and now new friends from out of town.
It’s been quite a few years since we last met, so it was super nice to catch up and make some knives! 🔪

Thanks a lot guys, hope to see you all again soon!

So.. as some may know and most probably don’t, there are new rules regarding shipments within and to the EU.
The main issue is thet they are tryin to reduce the amount of waste (packaging material) that are being shipped around by having the sender take responsibility for the material in the receiving country.
A very sound and beautiful plan, if you ask me. But also a very blunt and disastrous plan for everyone that operates a small-ish company (me for example).

These new regulations went live the 12/8 and to be honest it took me by surprise. I never in a million years could have guessed EU would so throughly pull the rug from small businesses as they did. But here we are.. if you want to read up on it you can google PPWR & EPR.

Fortunately someone eventually woke up and figured that maybe this wasn’t such a bright idea, so an exemption is coming for small businesses. Better late than never I suppose.

Sometimes I wonder how the people in charge actually got hired.

In the meantime, hopefully you (my customers within the EU) won’t notice anything, at worst you can expect longer shipping times, hopefully not.

All the best to you all, thanks for your contaminated support! ❤️

Managed to squeeze in some breadswords from the backlog this week.
As always, so fun to make these!

I even got to keep me for myself. 🥰

Monday & Tuesday delivered a two day class for these gentlemen all the way from Switzerland!
Ofcorse we had to do something extra so we the best Sweden has to offer; Damasteel !

It was two days full of great conversations and knifemaking. Sweden and Switzerland seem pretty similar on the surface but with lots of small differences.

Thanks for coming guys, I hope you enjoy your knives! ✌️✌️✌️
