Let me explain! ⬇️
When I started painting Janet, I soon got the feeling that she was going to a funeral.
But she was not sad.
It got me thinking...
Could it be that she will go to her own funeral?
Could it be that it is a part of her life that she leaves behind?
While I finish painting her, she slowly told me her story...
She doesn't grieve.
But it was time to say goodbye for a new chapter to begin.
Now she is going away to her new home and I can't explain how it feels for me as an artist when someone appreciate my art.
