We are getting many questions about Nordic Masters right now.
Unfortunately Malmö Gameweek this year is on a prerelease weekend.
This means we cannot run any RCQ:s and if we hosted Nordic Masters during Malmö Gameweek it would also not be a destination qualifier. (We are not allowed to)
It's also far from optimal to host other big Magic events during a prerelease weekend.
Therefore we have made the decision to try to host Nordic Masters another weekend and are looking for optional locations and dates for that.
Hosting Nordic Masters comes with big expenses and we want it to be a great event with great prizes. Hosting it on a prerelease weekend without the qualification slots is risky since it could mean a significant drop in player attendance.
We hope you have patience with us and stay tuned for updates on this.
Will there still be any magic on Malmö Gameweek? We are looking into doing something on a smaller scale, but nothing is confirmed yet.
