Mid vacay, all is fine😍

Finally, time for vacation🥳

It’s been a tough winter and spring, with more work than we could chew!
But we solved it, and now it’s time for some well needed rest😍

To celebrate this I want to show you a beautiful set that Markus got as a commission job a while back🤩
The customer wanted a gyuto, petty and a butchers axe, forged from 100 layers Damascus. For handle material he asked for oak and hazel wood, since these material had a personal value of his. So first time working with hazel wood, and I think Markus did a awsome job with it😍

So with this post I would like to wish you all an amazing summer, and let’s all cheer for Sweden in this nights game of football against France🫣

Take care❤️

What an amazing weekend!

We have had the lövmarknaden, we have celebrated midsummer, and we also have crazy good weather!
Today is Sunday, and I’m in the workshop all day, there is a lot of stuff to finish up before we leave for vacation för a couple of weeks!

We had an awsome lövmarknad, and many knives, candles and other stuff was sold, but we have some knives still available!
You will find most of them in our web store, but the knives on the last pictures are bonus knives which we don’t have any product pictures made for the web store, so they will only be available here at instagram and Facebook😊

First up we have 5 Karlskrona knives

Picture no 2, knives from mine (Mattias series) gyuto 24, petty 17, petty 13 and small utility’s 9cm.

Picture no 3, santokus from Markus series

And picture no4, our bonus knives. Here you see a gyuto 18 cm carbon steel. 4 pieces of 11 cm pettys in stainless steel 14c28n in different handles, and we have a Bowie in AEB-l steel together with a nice little hunter also made from AEB-l stainless steel!

If you’re interested in the knives on picture no 4, send us a DM, the other knives you find available in our webstore!!

Have a great weekend all❤️

Long time no see, it’s been a while since we had 24 cm gyutos available in the web store!

This is actually the first batch of 24 cm in my new series, and I’m very happy how they turned out!

The blades are forged thin, with a nice geometry, but with quite som heft to the spine to give some more sturdy feeling. The spine tapers from around 5,5-4,5 mm out of handle down to a fine tip!
The blades are made with a go mai 5 layer construction, with stainless cladding, nickel shims, and V-toku 2 core. I just love this core steel, it gets super sharp, it holds that edge great, and it’s so easy to maintain that sharpness with just
honing🤩

The handles are made from beautiful walnut with a bog oak bolster.
Avarage size of the blades are about 245x56 mm and weight is around 180 grams.

So this is a great size for a chefs knife in my opinion, it’s pretty big but yet nimble to use😍

Thanks for watching, you find these available at our website🥳

Did you know that you can customize the handle of your choice on our production knives in the webstore?

Here is a nakiri from my new line just finished up with a custom handle, normally I use walnut and bogoak as material, for this series. but on this one the customer wanted some local materials!

We have been a bit silent last couple of weeks here on instagram, but in the workshop everything is moving faster than ever!
We are fighting to make as many knives as we possible can, without the cost of quality of course, but you guys that visit our web shop has probably noticed that almost everything is sold out😅
It’s of course a nice problem to be oversubscribed, but it’s also stressful when we want to serve all customers!

But if there is some knife that you are interested in our shop, don’t hesitate to send a message and make a preorder, then you will have that knife next time we make a batch🤩

So, Pontus finished up this commission work today, and he did an amazing job with it🤩
in the blade with the gorgeous Yggdrasil pattern😍
Stabilized natural colour masur birch from .steel in absolute top quality, and a hammered brass bolster

The leather sheet is of course also made by Pontus and all in all a really great piece😍

So thanks for reading and have a great weekend!!
