After being selected as part of the Top 50 Best, the selection goes through another round of evaluation wherein Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are selected.

It is with great honor we announce that out of 222 entries from 52 origins thoroughly evaluated by an esteemed panel of cacao experts from around the world, our partner, the Saloy Organic Farmers Association (SOFA), represented by Ms. Judith Gabasa, has been selected and awarded a SILVER as one of the BEST Cacao producers IN THE WORLD by the most prestigious Cacao of Excellence Awards this 2024 and the only one to represent the Philippines this year!

It’s the 2nd time for our farming partners to be awarded this prestigious award! A NEW Philippine origin no less! Saloy!

SOFA was established under our Organic Conversion Program (OCP), launched in 2021 in Barangay Saloy, Calinan District, Davao City. The members of this organization have been part of our amazing chocolate journey since 2015.

It was unfortunate that we were unable to bring Ms. Judith Gabasa to receive their award personally at this time but we are honored to receive it on her and our partner farmer’s behalf.
