AKENBERG is a Swedish design house designing handcrafted accessories and sunglasses in limited edition. Founded by AnnKathrin Lundqvist and Jenny Olsson, the brand's ideology is to avoid mass production and create sustainable design products inspired by the arctic nature and lifestyle. STUDIO HEIJNE is a Stockholm-based fashion brand founded by Wendy Heijne. This sustainable brand offers stylish and unique garments with a perfect t, FOR REAL. The clothes are designed and produced according to the customer's measurements and speci c choice of details. In the collection you will nd ecological jeans, wool suit trousers and blazers, silk dresses, tops, silk scarves and face masks, amongst others. www.studioheijne.com

BLOOMING STOCKHOLM is an artificial floral atelier founded by Natasja van Dijk with the mission to make floristry more sustainable. The flowers they use will be reused many times without loss of quality while customers enjoy new designs incl. The concept also ensures less floral transport. In and around Stockholm it´s possible to receive modern arrangements with a subscription and in the whole Sweden your favourite one can be delivered to enjoy for a very long time.

Let's finish 2022 strong! 💪 It is often said that women don’t take risks, but we have risked everything – and it pays off. Launching and growing purpose driven sustainable brands within the fashion industry is not easy. However, putting in all your efforts and never start doubting yourself or your vision, is so worth it.

The determination to NOT give up keeps us going. Cause, hope is rarely lost as long as you manage to push yourself a little bit further. With support from other female founders who believe in you, you can achieve anything! 🙌

Female Founders for Fashion is rooted in the desire to empower women entrepreneurs in the fashion industry, and to create a space where women business-owners can seek guidance and collaborate alongside like-minded women. By joining forces, we aim to support, inspire, share, and learn from one another, and to foster successful and thriving businesses in the fashion industry. Countdown has started … It’s been a crazy year in many ways. As entrepreneurs in the fashipn industry, much time and effort has been spent working on new innovative creations and sustainable materials, that we know will have a great impact and change the way consumers think about future-proof fashion.

We are passionate about this work, and how we can help female founded fashion start-ups grow and prosper.
