Meet Gabriel Valdes, beverage director at Dusit Thani Bangkok. The 1970 Bar, perched on the hotel’s 39th floor, is architect André Fu’s retro homage to 1970, the year the original Dusit Thani opened.

Three connected spaces make up the bar: the Salon, the Library, and the Bar Bo***ir. Dusty pink, sage green, and warm oak meet rattan and bronze accents, a vintage-glam retreat high above the city.

The bar’s signature is the 1970 Martini, a tribute to jewelry designer Elsa Peretti, wheeled tableside on a classic martini trolley and served in the BOBO Drajja.

BOBO Store at Roslagsgatan 32 is open Monday through Friday all of June, with some closed weeks in July, for graduation and wedding gifts. All glassware comes in ready-to-gift boxes and in-store gift wrapping service is available.
