So, you’ve heard us talking about the Mega Pepper Chicken, but did we ever mention the Taiwanese sausage?

It is not super famous but it is possibly a very under-rated iconic Taiwanese street food. We’ve decided to give it a chance to shine.

It is a feature in our Meal Box, aka a bento box. Why is it sectioned? We’re guessing it is because that East Asians take the white rice seriously. The rice is not to be mixed with any other side dishes, which comes with its own flavour.

For the Asian food foodies out there who are always looking for something fun and delicious to try, we’ve got Taiwanese sausage at the Hugfish Cafe foodtruck😋.

Our foodtruck typically leaves Humlegården by the beginning of September because it can get pretty cold in Stockholm by September.

To our surprise, September this year, many of us are still in short sleeves. Preliminarily, we plan to open till the end of this month if we manage :).

Because Jennie will be off to another food project, there is a possibility that we might close our operation at Humlegården by the third week of September.

Either way, we’ll make a post about it. Hope we’ll still get to see you again this year before the foodtruck goes away.

P.S. We’ll be at Hornsgatan on September 19th and 20th, as well as October 3rd and 4th.

About a couple years ago, we introduced Mega Pepper Chicken to Stockholm. It is a truly wonderful thing for us to be able to share a piece of Taiwanese culture to people outside of Taiwan.

Here is a little piece of information about Mega Pepper Fried Chicken: it is one of the many items that you can choose from at a typical Fried Chicken Stall, as shown in the video.

You’d typically pick up a plastic basket, pick and choose what you like among 20 to 30 different items. The stall owner would tell you how much. You pay for it, receive a number and then to watch the stall owner do his/her thing.

Items of your choice would get deep-fried and tossed in a special spice blend(likely very similar to what you get from us). Typically, you’d be asked if you’d like to add basil or not and if you’d like to have chilly pepper in your food.

We’re going to be at Hornstull Market this upcoming Sunday, September 6th.

This is most likely the last time we’ll be at Hornstull Market this year. Hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer time and have had lots of delicious food.

If you would like to catch the tail of Swedish summer time in Södermalm, is right there with a very good variety of street food every weekend in September.

Boba 🧋 and Mega Pepper Chicken 🍗 will be there on September 6th 👋🏻. Oh! We’ve got delicious sweet-spicy Korean fried chicken as well 😋.

Milo is a very popular beverage in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia.

In the spirit of celebrating Singapore’s National Day, we bring you the Milo Dinosaur!

You can find out Milo Dinosaur at the foodtruck at Humlegården when it’s open.

Or, on August 9th, our foodtruck will be outside of Kungsholmen Kulturhus (Sankt Göransgatan 92) — a community cultural space in central Stockholm.

（The main celebration inside does not accept walk-in though. It requires pre-registration).

It’s an outdoor market with lots of food and some nice handcrafted items for you to check out as well.

Hello, food lovers. Street Food Festival is taking place in Stockholm between July 23rd to 25th. It’s a big one. Come and have a look and see what types of foodtrucks are actually out there in Stockholm.

Hugfish Cafe is teaming up with this year to be at the festival.

Anyone who has tried the delicious Korean rice bowls from Whoacup before? You can often find Whoacup booth at Hornstull Market.

Speaking of Hornstull Market, we’re there tomorrow(July 19th). Hope the weather will allow lots of people to enjoy a nice outdoor Swedish summer chill time with delicious international food.

We won’t be selling Mega Pepper Chicken at Street Food Festival due to production capacity. But hey, even if you buy from us there, we’ll be happy that you get to participate a different version of Stockholm - lots of people, lots of energy and LOTS of food. Food is Asian people’s love language 🫶🏻.

Hugfish Cafe here - a Taiwanese foodtruck in Stockholm, Sweden.

Is anyone visiting Stockholm this summer? We’ve got some pretty pleasant weather here.

Stockholm can be a pretty expensive place to buy food, especially in Östermalm. If you are in town and happen to be looking for delicious and reasonably priced food, we are right here.

You can likely spot this foodtruck if you pass by Humlegården on a day when it’s not raining. The exact location is shown on Google Maps.

To post or not to post, that is a question. We think it’s be fun for you to see us making food or bubble tea. But we don’t ever want to give you any feeling of seeing our advertisement repeatedly.

And then during all that hesitation, we sometimes forget to tell people anything about our event schedule😂. Maybe that’s not great for business. So hey, we’re telling you now.

But no pressure though. We’re only telling you that we’re here. For 3 consecutive Sundays in July, we will at Hornstull Market.

Just knowing that people know that this Taiwanese foodtruck is out there is kind of nice, too. If you’re actually reading this, thanks :).

Every time when anyone comes to us to get some fried chicken or bubble tea, we believe that we’ve sent out a piece of happiness to our customer. This piece of happiness probably is not a huge one, but we believe that it makes a difference.

is a wonderful outdoor market at Södermalm. If you have never been, it could be nice to check it out, even when we’re not there☺️, of course.
