Hembesök och uppställning av en äldre Vertere MG-1 som har gjort en tidsresa fram till dagens specifikation. Både skivspelarverket och armen är helt uppgraderat. Samtidigt passade vi på att uppgradera både pickup och riaa från en optisk lösning till en Vertere Mystic II och det rykande färska Vertere Phono-1 LX. Redan efter ca 30 minuter började denna kombination breda ut sina vingar och omsluta detta otroligt fina musikrum med närvaro, musiklivet och en djup, välsorterad samt mycket realistisk soundstage. Men viktigast är att en musikälskare återfått sin kärlek till vinyl.

The Acoustic Signature CLD technology (Constraint Layer Damping)

Our Constraint Layer Damping technology (CLD) helps minimizing sound-quality affecting vibrations so that the cartridge can track on a ‘quiet’ turntable surface without resonance-related impairment. In addition to the Silencer technology, this is achieved by unique sandwich platter constructions and particularly sophisticated material mixes.

The Acoustic Signature AVC technology (Automatic Vibration Control)

Every rotating motor generates vibrations which are transmitted to the chassis and platter. To minimize these effectively the vibrations must be ‘balanced’. Our AVC technology is able to measure the resulting distortions in real time and automatically adjusts the phase shifts to the motor signals. This digitally monitored corrective measure ensures a drastic reduction in vibrations, especially with multi-motor concepts.

The bearing is the heart of every turntable. The Harmony µDAC has won the EISA Best Value DAC 2026-2027 award.

EISA, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, is the largest editorial collaboration in consumer electronics: the editors of more than 50 specialist magazines and websites across more than 30 countries judge each category, every year. This year they chose our smallest DAC.

From the jury citation: "The Harmony µDAC delivers performance that rivals digital-to-analogue converters many times its size."
