What a glorious day, a beautiful celebration ending a ten day long confirmation camp focused on emotional and personal growth and building of good relationships. Days filled with laughter, tears, questions and answers, frustration discussions and above all LOVE. ❤️
Teenagers whom are on their way into adulthood. Curiosity mixed with anxiety. Ahead is a time to test boundaries, spread your wings, explore the world and make commitments. There are so many roads, so many choices and possibilities.
Quoting Julia: “This is the best experience I have had. It was like ten days of therapy. I wish every teenager had the opportunity to participate, since I think people learn how to grow into the person they want to be.”

It’s finally summer ☀️ and I shouldn’t complain, but I have difficulty sleeping when it’s to hot.
So yesterday I made myself a cooling body spray.
I know that peppermint has a cooling effect but I wanted to blend it with another oil. I love all citrus oils, they are so refreshing. But also photosensitive, so I didn’t want to use them. So I reached for Black Spruce (swipe to read more about it).
The body spray turned out to be amazing and I finally had a restful nights sleep 😴
You could also try the body spray if you are suffering from hot flushes 🥵 due to menopause.

What a treat! Today I was invited to try the benefits of Infrared Sauna by my dear friend Susan. Her studio, or should I say mini spa is located in the picturesque Old Town in Stockholm. Today I harvested some freshly sprouted pine tips. In the spring and early summer they are tender and bright green. They have a lighter flavor and can even be eaten fresh from the tree. They have a lemony, tart flavour.
Pine needles are high in Vitamin C and make an excellent winter tonic or cold remedy.
Did you know that you can make a lot of goodie stuff out of pine needles, even ice cream.
Today I prepared pine infused honey, pickled pine, pine infused salt, pine syrup, pine infused oil, and pine vinegar. And put some in the freezer to be used later for tea.
