UPDATE – 483D017 SK 60 RM15 CONVERSION SET

We have now updated our 483D017 conversion set for the SAAB SK 60

This set allows you to convert your SK 60 into a later aircraft equipped with the RM15 engines, together with the appropriate cockpit configuration.

Until now, the set has included two different instrument panel versions, representing different configurations used during the aircraft’s service life.

We have now added a third instrument panel representing the very latest avionics configuration of the SK 60: SK 60 AU Mk.2.

So, from now on, 483D017 includes three different instrument panel options, giving you even more possibilities to build the particular SK 60 version you want.

Summer is still here and so is modelling season !

We are excited to announce that the Pilot-Replicas 483D017 RM 15 Conversion Set is finally available.

Designed for the Pilot-Replicas 1/48 SK 60, this conversion set contains everything you need to accurately reproduce a Swedish Air Force SK 60 equipped with the RM 15 engine upgrade.

Inside the set you will find high-quality 3D printed parts together with a decal sheet, including two versions of our unique three-layer instrument panel system. Each panel consists of a smooth backing plate, high-resolution instrument decals and a finely detailed 3D printed front panel. The result is a remarkably realistic three-dimensional cockpit that simply cannot be achieved with a conventional instrument panel.

Every part has been designed with accuracy and ease of assembly in mind, allowing you to add an impressive level of detail to your SK 60.

For a long time now, I have been working extremely hard behind the scenes to develop a whole new range of historically accurate models, conversions, accessories and decals. During the three very intensive but fantastic model shows I have attended this spring, I have already been able to present and release several exciting accessory and conversion sets together with new pilot figures. I have also allowed visitors to get a sneak peek at two brand new aircraft projects that I am working extremely hard to complete. Due to lack of time, I simply have not had the opportunity to properly announce these releases here on Facebook yet. Please visit Pilot-Replicas and have a look under "Aircraft Accessories", where you will among other things find a conversion set for the Austrian SAAB 105 OE.

The following releases are now finally ready for delivery and available for ordering directly from the Pilot-Replicas website.

First out are the highly anticipated TEAM 60 decals, allowing you to build all aircraft from the classic TEAM 60 display team era, including the iconic yellow "FLYGVAPNET" text across the spine.

The decal set includes detailed instructions together with interesting historical notes and reference material.

The TEAM 60 release will be available in two versions:

Pilot-Replicas is proud to return for the second year to the Mosonshow International Model Show this coming Saturday and Sunday.

We are truly excited to once again be part of this outstanding event, where the elite of model builders from 36 countries compete for medals among more than 2500 displayed models.

We are, of course, very much looking forward to meeting both old and new friends at the show.

Our goal is to bring as much of our full product range as possible, and we will showcase a selection of new releases along with exclusive preview samples of upcoming releases at the event.

Thanks to our good friends at the Moson Show, we have been given a premium location this year. You will find us right at the entrance in Sector P, stand numbers P-12 to P-15.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Pilot-Replicas 🎄

As we approach the end of the year, we would like to wish all our friends, customers, and fellow modellers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2025 has been a truly fantastic year for Pilot-Replicas.

We have had the privilege of attending several world-class model shows across Europe, meeting many old friends as well as new customers along the way. The reception we have received internationally has been nothing short of amazing.

We see 2025 as a real highlight year and look forward to continuing this great journey as we head into 2026, with new adventures ahead and several very exciting subjects planned for Swedish aircraft enthusiasts.

The J29 “Tunnan” featured on this year’s Christmas card is built straight out of the box by the excellent and highly skilled modeller Emil Juhl, who earned a Silver award with this build at the tough yet very friendly C4 Open competition in Malmö earlier this year. Emil used decals and markings from Moose Republic to reproduce a beautifully camouflaged J29.

Once again, we would like to thank you all for your support and enthusiasm.

New release from Pilot-Replicas!
The TEAM 60 Smoke Unit (set 483D018) is here. A highly detailed 3D-printed set that lets you build one of the fascinating Swedish Air Force aerobatic team Team 60.

The set includes the complete diesel/media tank, the control/relay box with the transverse mounting beam, and the external piping that ran over the fuselage spine all the way to the left jet exhaust where the diesel was injected into the hot jet exhaust stream to create the characteristic white smoke.

This set comes with clear installation instructions and historical background material.
