Frodé Marina AB is owned by Mikael Frodé, who has a master's degree in boat building and is the fourth generation in the boating industry.
He is a three-time world champion and nine-time European champion with over 29 years of active offshore and circuit competition. He has competed in over 285 races and has 158 wins and 79 overall wins.

In 1997, Mikael Frodé took over the rights to the world-famous Oberg Life Jackets, a company that had been producing and selling competition vests all over the world for just over 30 years.
Mikael Frodé has made improvements and design changes based on his own experiences. These vests comply with the UIM rule book and are approved by Swedish powerboat federation.

To withstand external stresses, CEN-marked and high-quality materials have been used to make these vests durable and useful.

FRODÉ PRO CLASSIC...
Has undergone 30 years of development in consultation with racing drivers to withstand high stresses at high speeds.
The Frodé Pro Classic is specially designed for racing but is also suitable for fast pleasure boats at speeds of 30 knots and above.
The Frodé Pro Classic has outstanding performance and can withstand the stresses and strains of a lifejacket when a person falls overboard at high speeds.
Currently approved for racing use only, the vest is approved by and meets the requirements of the International Powerboat Federation for racing vests.

Turns an unconscious person in less than 7 seconds this with a personal equipment: helmet, overalls, wetsuit (without sleeves) and shoes.
Generous buoyancy (CEN labeled) 117 Newton.
Large collar keeps the head above the water surface.
Built-in back reinforcement of impact-resistant plastic with a thin foam layer to provide maximum protection against impacts and shocks.
Heavy duty adjustable harness systems with crotch strap and shoulder straps integrated with the vest in one piece for maximum strength, allowing the vest to remain fixed to the body after the fall into the water.
Waist and length adjustability for a perfect fit. The vest is openable with a strong side zipper.

FRODÉ PRO COCKPIT - CANOPY...
Is specially made for offshore and round course racing where the driver must wear a seat belt in the boat.
ATTENTION! The flotation suit does not turn an unconscious person to the supine position.
The Frodé Pro Cockpit is hand-crafted with snakeskin in specially treated nylon fabric to withstand high stress, abrasion and chemicals.
The vest is also available with Dupont Cordura® nylon fabric that meets APBA cockpit vest regulations.

Buoyancy (CEN-marked buoyancy material) more than 50 Newton.
The Frodé Pro Cockpit is made as a sleeveless and short leg overall.

The Frodé Pro Competition has been developed for more than 20 years for extremely tough tackle at sea.
The vest combines good support for the body with great mobility.
The vest is primarily intended for offshore racing and extremely high speeds and is approved by the International Motor Boat Association (UIM) as a competition vest.
Frodé Pro Competition is hand-crafted with care in specially treated nylon fabric to withstand great stress, abrasion and chemicals.

Frodé Pro Pleasure is hand-crafted with care in specially treated nylon fabric to withstand extremes of touch, abrasion and chemicals. The vest is approved for standard classes by the Swedish Race Boat Association (SVERA).
