The Kuihmaker Formerly "Oohlala Food Enterprises" Oohlala! Food Enterprise started way back in the late 1980’s as a small business effort by Mdm Salmah Abdul Latip.

It started from home where her love for making kuehs and perfecting the taste became her passion. The Evolution

Since then, our 25 years of experience enabled us to evolve our recipes and produce them at their present perfected taste. With the evolution of the recipes, our range of kuehs drew praise from all races and community for its taste and quality.

Tonight marks the start of the blessed month of Ramadhan.

It is going to be a month full of jovial mood and positive elements. The act of giving is much revered much and even though when one cant afford with physical money, the act of charity actually start with just a smile said Prophet Muhammad pbuh (At-Tharmidhi narrative).

Over at The Kuihmaker, we are doing our utmost best to fulfill the community's needs of quality food by what we preach best.

Moving forward, we will be closing our shutters so that we can concentrate on our cakes creations.

Presenting The Naga Sari Family.

The Naga Sari Pisang is a delicious dessert that has an essence of the daun pisang upon every bite.

It is less commonly available nowadays as it has a higher cost of preparation and more ingredients involved (ie pisang)

To carry the tradition, The Kuihmaker has Naga Sari Pisang available in our menu list. We do have the Naga Sari Jagung too.

Fun Fact: Our Filipino frens alo love the Naga Sari Jagung cos it reminds them of a similar dessert back home, Maja Blanca. Im glad that we can relieve some level of homesick through our Naga Sari.

Still feels surreal — we shared the screen with President Tharman! 🇸🇬✨

I was rescuing plants at Shatec when the Istana DM came in. Thought it was a prank. 😅 But it was real! Within 30 minutes, the official email arrived.

Our little 3-year-old kuih biz was picked to be part of the President’s Hari Raya video. 🥹
And yes… it was TOP SECRET until right before the shoot!

We prepped, filmed, and handed over our Putri Salat — all in under 2 hours. Simple, meaningful, unforgettable.

Then the video dropped, with the President’s beautiful Hari Raya message to all Muslims and Singaporeans. 🕌🌙

We’re deeply honoured and grateful.
Alhamdulillah. Thank you, Ya Rabb. 🙏🏽
