[Coconut + Coffee Latte] Tribute has to be made to this concoction! Just as you are figuring out and recalling the flavor profile of this drink. The thought process of creating this flavor profile was inspired by the nostalgic KOPIKO candy! Yes! It tastes like the candy 😊

Do you agree that Pandan is one of the plants that is capable of evoking nostalgic memories of South-East Asian life solely by its scent?

We recently asked a botanical expert about the species of the Pandan, and realised that the Pandan leaf used for the tutu is a different Pandan that we are so familiar with.
This unique tutu Pandan leaf is characterised by:
💪🏻 its hard texture, which makes it hold the tutu better
🌵 thorns at the sides, which we have to trim it off manually!

Here’s how we standardise and curate our own traditional tutu!

⚖️ balanced texture, softness & chewiness
👩🏼‍🍳 generous amount of fillings and the right thickness of the skin
👃🏽well balanced fragrance between the vanilla like scent of the Pandan leaf (eat the kueh with the leaf attached to the kueh - but do not eat the leaf!), sweet popcorn barley like aroma from the rice skin, and mild lush sweetness from the perfectly cooked coconut shavings

*Best to consume while it is still warm! If not, steam it up before consumption!
