Each bamboo basket is carefully crafted by our Garo artisans. Taking upwards of 48 hours from harvest, drying and finally handweaving into the bags that comprise this collection, each bag bears the mark of the individual weaver.

Our Bamsa series draws inspiration from the indigenous Garos tribe in Tangail, Bangladesh.

Each bamboo basket is carefully crafted by our Garos artisans. Taking upwards of 48 hours from harvest, drying and finally handweaving into the bags that comprise this collection, each bag bears the mark of the individual weaver.

Upon completion of the basket body, each piece is sent to our in-house team to be beautifully made into bags with our repurposed yarn-spun fabric.

With this series, we hope to bring you a complete artisanal experience with every piece.

A unique variance is to be expected with each bag being completely 100% handmade.

The Tea-Picker series is the reflection of the incredible experience we have gotten from the tea pickers of Sreemangal Tea Garden. The concept and design of our products are inspired by the freshly-picked leaves and their unusually cute cotton voile cloth bag. The chosen colours were, of course, taken from the breathtaking colours of the sunset we've experienced at the tea garden.

In each of our product you will find a tea bag instead of the usual silica gel. Besides absorbing excess moisture, it also allows you to get a whiff of the Sreemangal tea garden where we visited last Autumn for our inspiration of the Tea-Picker series!
