Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

📜So, is paper biodegradable? Yes. On the whole, paper is both biodegradable and compostable.
✨But, whenever possible, we should recycle paper rather than composting it.

♻️ By recycling paper instead of composting, we reduce the demand for virgin tree fibres for paper production. This then helps to reduce deforestation.

🌍 For the paper that cannot be recycled, composting is an eco friendly way of dealing with it. Instead of sending greasy food containers, used tissues and shredded documents to landfill, we can put them to use in the soil.

📦 We chose to pack our detergent sheets in 100% kraft paper packaging since it has the smallest carbon footprint, compared to other types of bleached paper packaging with colourful ink (which might contain harmful chemicals which is bad for your compost heap)

⚡Kraft paper is naturally biodegradable—just like tree leaves—which break down naturally in just a few weeks and is unbleached.

✨Bleach is a handy go-to cleaning product for washing your clothes, it’s an excellent sanitising agent, designed to kill germs or moulds; bleach also has fantastic stain removal properties – especially for white fabrics and some colour-fast clothes.

⚡Previously we’ve shared a few laundry washing symbols; now it’s time to revisit other laundry bleach symbols.

☠️ Bleach is a harsh chemical that can be corrosive and will mark clothes and surfaces if used in the wrong way.
You’ll want to take a look at your clothes care label to see if there is a bleach symbol. Recognising these signs can save your clothes from getting permanently damaged by chlorine bleach.
