“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” - Matthew 11:28

How many times in your life that you felt so tired, like you are always carrying heavy load on your shoulders and you wanted to just let go and rest but you cannot do so due to fear and insecurity… but God says “Come to me” and He will give you rest because He is loving God, a provider for all our needs and our safe place, so why wait?!

This week reminder and encouragement to myself.

It has been a stressful 2 weeks for me at work. Many times when I feel like giving up, a voice in me keep telling me to hang on as God is working on it. He can do the impossible.

If He can make Sarah who is barren to get pregnant during her late years… If He could make Moses part the Red Sea so that Israelites can be saved… What can He not do to help me through this busy week…

So just learn to breathe and trust in the Lord!

Even though we may go through sufferings and trials in life but He will be with us in every sufferings and trials, bring us through it and then restore us so that we emerged like gold from furnace, strong and firm, in person and in faith…

Today during my Bible study I came across this verse “Nothing and no one can offer us salvation but Jesus”

Indeed, what is more precious than the salvation we received through Jesus Christ? Through Him, we knew we were loved by God even though we are sinners. Even when the whole world is against you, but God will not forsake you once as long as you believe and come to Him.
