Tara's World brings Turkish Towels (peshtemals-full size towels), peshkirs (hand towels), kids/ adults ponchos, hooded baby towels as well as throws. Turkish Towel (peshtemal) is flat woven, 100% natural cotton fabric, lightweight, easy to pack and carry. It has a hand-finished tassels on the fringes which make these towels truly authentic. My husband Orcun is taking on the 2027 London Marathon for Samaritans, raisin awareness and funds for mental health support.

It has been a tough year for our family and we have seen first-hand how important it is to support those struggling with their mental health.

From İzmir to Fethiye, İzmir to Çeşme, İzmir to Rize & Artvin, İzmir to Stockholm, and İzmir to Akçay & Assos… and now, finally, heading back to Singapore, our home away from home.

It’s been such a busy, packed and wonderfully hectic holiday this time around. So many places, so many experiences, and every kind of emotion along the way, lots of laughter, a few tears, emotional moments and even some bitter ones. But they’ve all become new memories that we’ll carry with us.

And now I’m actually happy to be heading back to Singapore and my usual routine… I almost forgot what that felt like!

Home is where the heart is, and right now, I’m ready for home. 🇸🇬

We experienced one of the biggest milestones in both my life and my daughter Tara’s life as she graduated from high school. It was such an emotional day for all of us, with tears rolling down throughout the ceremony.

From the beautiful speeches by the teachers, to the video clips showing the students from their very first days until today, every moment touched our hearts. Seeing Tara and her little sister hug each other tightly while both sobbing was something I will never forget. It was a day filled with so much love and emotion.

My dear Tara, I am beyond proud of how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown over the years. Watching you become the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. ✨
