It started with a bag of buttons that I got from my mum, where we created the “FOUND” & “Bangtan’s Missing Buttons” in 2022. This year, we’re looking to dig deep into our sustainability mission and we are looking for YOU to help get involved.

With the Lunar New Year coming up and all that spring cleaning being done, we are looking for button donations from anyone who is able to send us a bunch buttons! I think most of our parents/grandparents probably have buttons sitting somewhere. If they’re not being used, please consider donating those buttons to us.

& are committed to
• using thrifted/donated buttons for this project (we will pay for any mailing fees involved!)
• donating a portion of sales from this entire project to ensuring a child has their needs taken care of

it’s been awhile since but, we’re back! we’ve been planning quite a number of things and have been designing, printing and updating a bunch of business things that we’re looking forward to showing you really soon!

we thought it’d be really cool to share some behind the scenes stories as we inch towards our next collection launch. it’s something that we’re really excited about because these vintage pieces that we’re taking apart to update are >30 years old!

the necklaces on the right are the original designs that are part of my aunt’s inventory from her business many years ago. the material is imported from Europe and while a little aged are still in really great condition.

we’re taking apart and 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 these pieces, redesigning and updating them with modern sensibilities to bring you a new piece of wearable history.

— FREE STICKER ALERT

these babies have landed in our supply closet (aka, my bedroom…) and will come with every order! it’s a really small thing but something I’m very proud of as a non-graphic designer person.

a sticker that encompasses the growth I’ve gone through as a design-idiot in the last 6 months, the aesthetics that I particularly love for some reason, and a little reminder message that you can stick anywhere! also, I made the whole order in Chinese - traumatic but successful experience. 🤣

the sticker’s intention, for you as the reader as a reminder that YOU have all the reasons you need to love yourself. as much as CYPHER:decoded is part of your style journey, we are only a small part of everything that makes up what and how you love yourself.

CYPHERSTUDIO and our labels x will always make jewellery for anyone and everyone, and we hope to play a small part in your journey, no matter what that part we play is!

the original CYPHERSTUDIO brand that houses all our hopes and dreams of inspiration from the past and present. we’d like to reimagine what timeless style would look like, past the gold, silver and bronze. or at least, we’d be trying to at every step of the way.

we are still committed to making jewellery accessible to all, cause style knows know gender.

we are still committed to being sustainable, where 50% of our materials are vintage, thrifted or gifted by friends who no longer bead. we also source natural materials that ensure all your jewellery is one of a kind.

and we are committed to introducing better quality materials which is why will be moving into creating accessories with gemstones, 925 silver and 14K gold plated hardware.

we look forward to bringing you interesting collection and having our pieces being part of your everyday wear.

this is for the ones who were here from the beginning. you’d remember we used to go by @/cypherstudioco but as we grew, our styles evolved and we became and then developed as a sister brand.

But, we have registered officially under CYPHERSTUDIO with an actual UEN number. Oh, how we have grown. I now own this UEN for the next 3 years and can’t wait to see where we go. 🥳

Thank you for your love for us in the past and we look forward to bringing you more designs and look forward to more of your love in the future!
