When the founder flies in to hang out, you know the relationship is real. 🤝

Last year, Taylor Grey, founder of Radic Performance dropped by Trail+ for the first time to get to know us and build a relationship.

This year, he came back. Not to make a sale, but to hang out, talk shop and show us the prototypes he's been working on. Over the past 12 months, he's been gathering feedback and refining everything we learned from the KAHA V1, figuring out how the next generation can be even better.

This is what makes boutique brands different. The people behind them actually care, actually listen and actually show up.

We got the first look at Shimano's 2026 MTB lineup. 👀

Trail+ was at the Shimano 2026 New Product Presentation and the new mechanical groupsets are seriously impressive. Here's what stood out:

New XT (M8200) and Deore (M7200 / M6200) mechanical groupsets — proper trickle-down tech at every price point.

The highlights:
⭐ Dual spring + clutchless system carried over from Di2, lower maintenance, fuss free
⭐ Solid pulley design that minimises debris getting trapped
⭐ Retractable shifter cover for tool-less cable replacement, no more missing parts or exposed internals collecting dirt

has clearly put real thought into making these easier to live with day to day, not just faster shifting, but less time in the workshop and more time riding.

And a shout-out to Lazer Sport for the great improvements in fit this year. 🙌

He made it to the podium. 🥉🇸🇬

Congratulations to and Team Singapore on finishing 3rd at the 2026 Asian Mountain Bike Championships XCE — Cross Country Eliminator.

Here's what the day looked like:

1st place in the time trial to qualify into the top 32. Three back-to-back heats just to reach the finals. Then a podium finish on the biggest MTB stage in Asia.

That's not luck. That's preparation, fitness and mental strength — all showing up on the same day.

Incredibly proud to be part of this journey. Well done, Riyadh. 🔧❤️

Orange to silver. Industry Nine Hydra to Project 321 G3.

The Hydra is no slouch, 0.52° engagement is genuinely impressive. But that near-instant pickup comes with a trade-off: added drag while coasting, and a bearing system that's known to give up before the rest of the hub does.
