Visit via appointment only. Founded in 2017 by Wayne Lim, Wayneston Studios is a Teddy Bear Specialty Store based in Singapore. Wayne is also the chairman of the Singapore Teddy Bear Club and Organiser for Singapore Teddy & Friends Show and Online Show. Wayne has been teaching and conducting workshops for more than ten years. aysia, Singapore, UK, and the USA. Wayneston Studios' vision is to educate and promote the appreciation of handmade toys. We want people to experience enjoyment and fun through the process of making something beautiful, creative and imaginative which they can truly call their own masterpiece. We also want the them to feel the enormous sense of achievement that holding their finished piece brings. Our mission is to coach and mentor passionate hobbyists. This mentoring has inspired many to become Teddy Bear artists. Our ultimate dream is that anyone could make something truly their own and to help continue promoting handmade crafts. Understanding the importance of using the best fabrics, tools and accessories to provide high quality bear-making materials for the local market, Wayneston Studios has been created for the benefit of our students and other bear enthusiasts. Wayneston Studios holds Teddy Bear Making Workshops for small interactive groups of serious hobbyists. We also conduct corporate workshops for much larger groups. For those who cannot attend classes in person, we have a range of online classes for students to enjoy learning at their own pace, in the comfort of their own homes. Congratulations to Anita on completing her very first needle felted project! 🐻‍❄️

For her first attempt, she created an adorable little polar bear that turned out beautifully. Full of character and charm, her little bear is a wonderful achievement! Anita also discovered how therapeutic needle felting can be and has already been inspired to create many more animals in the future.

One of the highlights of the day was that Anita brought along the very first handmade teddy bear she made over 20 years ago. It was so heartwarming to see how well loved he has been all these years—a beautiful reminder that a handmade teddy bear can become a treasured companion for a lifetime.

After completing her needle felted polar bear, Anita continued straight into her next workshop, where she began learning the foundations of traditional teddy bear making—tracing patterns, preparing the mohair fabric, and carefully cutting out the bear pieces.

It's always a joy to see students rediscover their creativity and grow in confidence with each project. I can't wait to see Anita's second handcrafted mohair teddy bear come to life!

Another wonderful weekend spent with two familiar faces! ❤️

Xue Yan Aunty and Zhi Xuan are back in the studio, continuing their teddy bear-making journey. With every stitch and every little detail, their bears are slowly coming to life.

We had a beary fun day filled with creativity, laughter, and great company. 🧸✨

Earlier this year, I travelled to Taiwan to participate in an exhibition, and I was also honoured to conduct an intermediate Teddy Bear making sharing session with a wonderful group of students.

We spent the entire day together in a cosy café, surrounded by bears, laughter, and inspiring conversations. There was so much to share, and I truly enjoyed exchanging ideas and techniques with everyone. The students were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive, making the experience even more memorable.

As always, time flew by! Although we didn't manage to finish every bear during the session, everyone brought their creations home to complete as homework. We stayed connected through a group chat, where they could continue asking questions and sharing their progress.

One by one, they sent me photos of their completed bears. Thanks to AI, I was even able to create a group photo featuring all of their finished bears together. Seeing each unique creation brought me so much joy and reminded me of the wonderful day we shared.

Thank you all for your friendship, kindness, and passion for teddy bear making. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share my love for this craft with bear lovers around the world, and I hope our paths will cross again in the future. ❤️🧸

We're so happy to welcome Anita as our newest student! Although this is her very first time trying needle felting, she already has a wealth of crafting experience, including patchwork, crochet, knitting, beading, and many other creative skills.

It didn't take long for her to get the hang of needle felting. With patience and confidence, she quickly learned the techniques and soon her adorable little polar bear began to take shape.

It's always exciting to see someone discover a new craft and enjoy the process so much. We can't wait to welcome Anita back for her next session and see her polar bear come to life!

Two little needle felted polar bears were born today, lovingly handmade by Julio and Camila. For their very first needle felting project, they both did an amazing job bringing their adorable polar bears to life.

Watching complete beginners discover the joy of creating with wool is always so rewarding. We hope this is just the beginning of many more wonderful handmade creations to come!

Zhi Xuan also joined us to continue working on her teddy bear. Her bear's head is now complete, and she's absolutely thrilled with how it has turned out. It's always exciting when a bear starts to show its own personality, and we can't wait for her to assemble the rest of the bear in her next session.

💜 A Curious Little Dodo with a Big Personality 🦤

Meet my purple metallic Dodo, finished with soft metallic highlights that shimmer beautifully as the light changes.

One of my favourite features is its articulated beak, allowing the mouth to open and close, giving it an extra level of expression and character. The sculpted leafy tail adds a unique botanical touch, making this Dodo unlike any other.

This is one of the final two Dodos currently available for adoption.

I'll continue designing more Dodos in the future, but each colourway and design is created in very limited numbers, making every release a special collectible.
