We are Aimee and Yvette. 2 full time work-from-home mommies/part time quilters/certified fabricholics from Singapore who love to sew and shop with all our hearts and souls. It wasn’t long before our collective shopping sprees warrant a fabric and notions supply shop! Through this platform, we aim to bring the best quality sewing notions and fabrics to the local and regional sewing community. Village life collection is inspired by the simple joys of country living, the Village Life collection brings together sweet vintage-inspired prints in two charming color stories: warm Rusts, Ochres, and Teal Greens, or crisp Burgundies and Blues.

So step into a little village filled with pretty dress fabrics, old fashioned wallpapers, farmers’ markets, and familiar faces with us today!

This kit is LECIEN COSMO Jizashi Counted Stitch Petite Frame Decoration Sewing Kit, No. 2321, Mimosa. Available on 2Quilters eStore.

Jizashi is an interesting hybrid of sewing techniques, stitched on Aida or evenweave. Patterns are sewn by counting stitches like you would for cross-stitch, black work and even kogin sewing.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for showing up at our booth last weekend at AACF 2026

We are completely overwhelmed by the support and love. Thank you for your encouragement and kindness, and for introducing yourselves to us (we were especially thrilled each time we could put a face to the names in the online orders/messages!). Thank you for thinking about our well-being too (the drinks! the food!). We wish we could have spent more time discussing patchwork, quilting and Sashiko sewing with each of you, and of course, taking pictures with you! 

Apologies to those who had to wait a bit longer for us to attend to you or could not get the designs/colours of your choice at the fair. Please DM us to find out how we can get your sewing journey with us started or continue our conversation, or to find out more information if you had walked by our booth that weekend.

Hot Girls Have Grandma Hobbies. And visitors to our booth at AACF 2026 seem to think so too!

It's a wrap for day 1 and we had a great time meeting familiar faces and introducing newcomers to Sashiko sewing too.

Set-up night at AACF 2026 this evening and it was all hands on deck! Hats off to the rest of the vendors who set up their displays with such speed and efficiency.

Our shipment from BOHIN is here! The all-time essential tool, the 3-in-1 needle puller for hand crafters is back in stock.

And check out Bohin's special jeans needles (for handsewing). It has a smaller needle eye than Sashiko needles but can still accommodate thicker threads comfortably.

And we have sewing kits, needle books and needle-minders that are absolutely irresistible too!
