This is the broken strap buckle from a very recent Chinese case maker. They are price cheaply for a reason. Don’t be penny wise pound foolish. Fortunately for the user, he was able to break the fall from the broken strap and the instrument was not damaged. User will be switching to a Bags of Spain case. Remember to always check the condition of your current case, especially if you have been using it for some years already. Apart from the straps, do look out of moisture gathering, peeling of leather, disintegrating of foam and blocks, contact point of screws, etc.
