To be honest… I’ve been carrying this quiet sense of guilt for not posting much on socials since the start of the year.
Jan to March just flew by, and I found myself thinking, “Why does it feel like I’ve done so little?” Even though so much was happening, it didn’t feel real… almost like none of it counted as actual progress.
That thought slowly turned into self-doubt. Even a bit of self-criticism.
So I paused and asked myself to look back — not at what I posted, but at what actually happened.
And when I did, I realised these past 3 months weren’t empty at all. They were just full in ways that didn’t show up online.
- Back-to-back major Public Garden events in Dec & Jan with a trip squeeze inbetween.
- An office lease ending, and the stress of finding a new place 🫠
- An IG livestream that became one of our biggest sales.
- Packing up my entire office in 7 days (it honestly felt like moving house all over again). 📦🚐
- Followed by weeks of unpacking and settling into a new space. 😵💫
Looking back, a lot actually happened.
A lot of work was done.
Somewhere along the way, I let myself believe that “posting less = doing less. But that’s not true.
Not all work is visible and not all progress is loud. Not everything meaningful needs to be documented to count.
This is a reminder to myself —
to stop measuring my worth by how present I am online, and to start recognising the quiet wins, the unseen effort, the behind-the-scenes moments that no one claps for.
Because they matter too.
And maybe… those are the ones that matter the most.
Yun Ling, you’re doing great - keep it going one day at a time! :)
